Four thriving village churches in the Parish of Upper Stour – three in Wiltshire, and Bourton in Dorset – near to where the River Stour begins its journey to the sea, form the Benefice of the Upper Stour. Within the parish is the National Trust property of Stourhead.
The churches are here for all, whether you are a local resident or visitor, we invite you to come and enjoy the peace and beauty of our churches, to pray, to join us in worship, or simply to sit and be still.
As you will see, we have many activities, groups and events at which to meet other people, make friends and become encouraged to grow in the Christian faith.
Our aim is to help people of all ages to encounter God, and to grow in a relationship with Him, through a variety of opportunities on Sundays as well as through the week.
On this website, you can also find out about getting married; having your baby baptised or arranging a funeral. For details of services on Sunday and at other times, please see the Services page.
Please feel free to contact the Rector at the Parish Office, or other members of this parish via this website email link, if we can help you in any way.
